Hygiene and Therapy Treatments

You can book appointments with our dental therapist and hygienists, Chloe, Lauren and Jade however, you will need to see a dentist first for an appropriate updated treatment plan.

This means that any treatment that is carried out is supported by the dentist. This will ensure the right diagnosis, treatment and how long this prescription is valid for.

There will be occasions when this prescription must be repeated because it’s validity has run out or is no longer appropriate. A new assessment of your oral health, a new treatment plan and a new time period is necessary so you will need to see your dentist again to get this updated. Please feel free to ask your dentist, therapist or hygienist as to your period of validity.

We are unable to compromise these rules due it’s importance, our receptionists will be happy to explain how this works and make appropriate appointments.

We will always help you, Please speak to a member of staff who can advise you. Your dental health is important to us and with our services, we will be able to give you the oral health you deserve. In order to do so, we recommend coming into New Street Dental Care every six months for a professional cleaning. If you do this, your teeth will be deeply cleaned and polished. We may provide a beneficial fluoride treatment that will restore the strength of your teeth and help them fight bacteria, decay, and infection. This cleaning is also useful when you are preventing the development of periodontal disease and gum disease. Your dentist or hygienist is the only one who can remove the harmful tartar (calculus) from your teeth and restore your oral health.
